Funding Compared is a trading name of Imperial Outreach Limited, registered in England and Wales at 101 New Cavendish Street, London W1W 6XH. We are the data controller for the information you give us on this site. You can reach us at data@fundingcompared.com.

What we collect

• Your company name or company number, how much funding you are looking for and what it is for.
• Your name, email address and mobile number.
• Public information about your company from Companies House: registered name, number, status, incorporation date, SIC codes and registered office address.
• A hashed form of your IP address and your browser type, kept to stop abuse of the form.

What we use it for

We use your details to check which funding your company may qualify for and to introduce you to the broker, lender, grant specialist or investor network in our panel that is best placed to help. That partner will contact you by phone or email about funding for your company. We rely on your consent, given when you register, and on our legitimate interest in running the matching service.

Who we share it with

We pass your details to one or more partners in our network who we believe fit your requirement. Each partner is its own data controller and will tell you how it handles your information when it contacts you. We also use Supabase (hosting and database, EU region), Resend (email) and Vercel (website hosting) to run the service. We never sell your details.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months so that we can follow up and answer questions about an introduction, then delete them. Anti-abuse records are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing data@fundingcompared.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Credit checks

Registering on this site does not involve a credit search and does not affect your credit score. A partner may carry out a search later, with your agreement, when you apply for a product.
